Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the funding and reimbursement of medical devices in the UK Healthcare System and will provide you with a look into the UK National Health Service – NHS, the HRG system, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

Upon completion of this course, trainees will be able to correctly and successfully:
- Comprehend how the UK Healthcare System operates, HRGs, Pass-Through Payments for new technologies and how the creation of MTAC and the Evaluation Pathway at NICE will have implications for medical device companies entering the market.
