Medical Device Manufacturers Association
The Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) is a national trade association based in Washington, DC providing educational and advocacy assistance to innovative and entrepreneurial medical technology companies. Since 1992, MDMA has been the voice for smaller companies, playing a proactive role in helping to shape policies that impact the medical device innovator. This is accomplished by maintaining relationships with key Members of Congress, senior staff at FDA and CMS, and through the grassroots support of our members.
Medicoindustrien is the industry association for the medical device industry in Denmark. The organisation represents more than 110 member companies which develop, manufacture, sell or otherwise take an interest in medical devices. Medicoindustrien works to promote the commercial and political interests of the member companies. Key focus points for the industry include innovation, uptake on new technology, patient safety, quality of life and a sustainable health economy. Medicoindustrien also takes active part in the work of Eucomed, the European medtech association in Brussels and cooperates with similar trade associations though out Europe. FiHTA - Finnish HealthTech is the Association for all health technology companies in Finland. The Finnish health technology sector is very strong at the moment. Today we have approximately 50 member companies, which represent about 90 percent of the total medical technology market in Finland. Our member companies consist mainly of Finnish manufacturers. Our mission is to ensure that the Finnish health technology industry has what it needs to be competitive in the global marketplace. To achieve this we foster an innovative and internationally competitive business environment, encourage business development as well as enhance the image and attractiveness of the industry and its companies. We offer our member companies and partners various services including analyzed and refined information, training, as well as working groups and a wide network of experts. An important part of our activities focuses on enhancing the operational conditions of small and medium sized enterprises. FiHTA is an active forum for cooperation and networking in the sector.
